"The Enlightened Life"
Dear Friend,
On Sunday, I spoke about Timothy Farris’ book, The Whole Shebang, to help us understand the nature of light. Timothy also wrote about science in this book: “It is a self-correcting system of inquiry in which errors – of which there are, of course, plenty – are sooner or later detected by experiment or by more careful analysis.”
Life in Christ is designed to be like science. We are encouraged by the Holy Spirit to engage in self-correcting inquiry. I suggest three examples:
- Am I growing in clarity of understanding about my life purpose?
Am I growing in my ability to fulfill this purpose?
Am I connecting with other good people who are experimenting and learning to live high-capacity lives?
I encourage you to experiment, analyze, pray and grow into the enlightened life that Christ offers to those who put their faith in Him.
