"A More Effective Prayer Life"
Dear Friend,
Every Wednesday morning at 6:30 I meet with a group of about ten men. These courageous souls gather every week through the delightful warm summer mornings and the obnoxious cold winter mornings for the single purpose of praying for our church. Another group of men meet every Monday morning for the same noble work. These unsung heroes seek God’s face, call upon His name and prevail with Him to show favor to us as a church.
May I intrude into the privacy of your soul and ask, “What does your personal prayer life look like?” Prayer ennobles the human soul, blesses the family and empowers the church. Without prayer, we deceive ourselves, become ritualistic and lose the wonder of Christ. In the Scriptures, God says to us:
“Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you
great and hidden things that you have not known”
Jeremiah 33:3 ESV
I invite you to accept this divine offer and work at building a more effective prayer life.
