“True Generosity Enriches the Soul"
Dear Friend,
Do you have a correct definition or a functioning definition of generosity? A correct definition generally requires growth and change, while a functioning definition permits us to remain underdeveloped. In his wisdom, Solomon wrote in Proverbs 11:24: “One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers wants.”
This is my definition for generosity. I feel enriched when:
- - I love unconditionally
- - I share my time graciously
- - I invest my talent and ability in an unselfish and noble way
- - I invest money through tithes and offerings
True generosity enriches the soul, while greed and selfishness impoverish it. May God bless you as you challenge yourself to grow into an enriched, generous soul.
