“A Financial Plan”
Dear Friend,
In Randy Alcorn’s best-selling book, The Treasure Principle, he writes:
- The average American shops six hours a week while spending 40 minutes playing with his children.
- By age 20, we’ve seen one million commercials.
- Recently, more Americans declared bankruptcy than graduated from college.
- In 90% of divorce cases, arguments about money play a prominent role.
These four interesting facts point to the need for a thoughtful financial plan.

Proverbs 11:28 says: Whoever trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like a green leaf. This passage teaches us that a right financial plan is better than the false security of wealth.
