"A Healthy Soul Creates a Rich Life"
IDear Friend,
Taking care of our eternal souls affects the quality of our life and the lives of people around us. This soul care requires knowledge of four realities:
- Self-knowledge – To properly care for my soul I must know my uniqueness.
- Knowledge of others – My soul is affected by the people around me. And the better I know them, the better I care for my soul.
- Social knowledge – We live in large and small communities. The largest community is the world itself. The smallest community is our home. The better we understand living in community, the better our souls will be.
- Knowledge of God – Ultimatly, God is the source of all soul care. To know God enriches the soul.
Ths Scriptures teach us “Keep the heart for out of it are the issues of life.” I paraphrase this by saying, “Take good care of your soul because a healthy soul creates a rich life.”
