“A Time To Reconsider Our Economic Plan”
Dear Friend,
Many pundits predict a recession – and their predictions stimulate all manner of fear and worry. However, the threat of a recession may be just the encouragement we need to reconsider our economic planning.
Perhaps we can think about our present plan by answering three questions:
- How might I reduce my spending to compensate for a recession?
- What do I need in my savings to weather a recession?
- What economic possibilities or opportunities might a recession create for me?
Answering these questions, and creating a good plan based upon your answers, permits you to take advantage of the proverb we discussed on Sunday. In the context of a possible recession, I might interpret Proverbs 21:5 as follows:
“The plans of the diligent lead to abundance – even in times of recession.”
God bless you as you think, plan and prepare for a life of faith.
