"Inspire One Another ”
Dear Friend,
I recently read an article explaining a psychological research study. The study concluded, “Your friends can make you fat.” In fact, our friends do not make us fat. Generally, our diet and exercise deficient lives are to blame. What sometimes happens is, our friends reinforce our wrong eating habits and lack of exercise. Really, who wants to work out when you can sit around with your friends and have a barbeque with fried potatoes!
The important point we should all take to heart is the influence that we have on our friends and they have on us. We inspire each other to realize our full potential or we rationalize. Most of our parents said at one time or another when we were young: “Birds of a feather flock together.” With what flock are you flying?
Moses once said to the people he hoped to influence:
“I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life.”
Deuteronomy 30:19.
We are a blessing or a curse to our friends. We are a source of life or death. I join Moses and say, let’s choose life by inspiring each other to live well, grow complete, and enjoy life thoroughly.
