“A Future Worth Pursuing”
Dear Friend,
Do you have hopes, dreams and ambitions? If you do, you are future oriented. This means, you tend to think about the future more than the past. People who study leadership, find that effective leaders think about the future more than non-leaders.
I would like to help you think about your future. Brian Tracy wrote an excellent book entitled: Goals. In this book, he stimulates our ability to think about the future with four questions:
- What are your three most important career goals?
- What are your three most important financial goals?
- What are your three most important relationship goals?
- What are you three most important health and fitness goals?
With your permission I would like to add a fifth question:
- What are your three most important spiritual goals?
Take some time and answer these five questions. Your best answers will be personal, clear and energizing. We can create a future we enjoy living in, but we must be thoughtful, diligent and consistent. The Scriptures say:
“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might…”
