Mini Celebrations
Dear Friend,
What place does celebration have in your life? On Sunday, we saw in the Scriptures the value Christ placed on celebrating. This week, I worshiped God in three mini celebrations:
- Monday morning I celebrated the joy of being a follower of Christ by sipping coffee and saying prayers of thanksgiving.
- Tuesday morning I celebrated the joy of spring-like weather by riding my motorcycle with prayers of thanksgiving.
- Wednesday morning I celebrated the hope of being a better man by praying for love to abound in my heart with knowledge and discernment.
These mini celebrations enrich me and give me hope for the future. They stimulate prayer, praise, and joy in my soul.
King David recorded one of his mini celebrations when he wrote: “O give thanks to the Lord because He is good. He just never stops expressing His love.”
