Conversations Matter!
Dear Friend,
Many of us have experienced conversations that helped us in times of difficulty. Perhaps someone called and encouraged us; a friend helped us to see our problem in a new way; or even on a rare occasion, a total stranger said something that brightened our day. Conversations matter!
In the coming weeks, in sermons and in small groups, we’ll be discussing the power of walking across the room to start a conversation. Some people find this easier to do than others. But every one of us has the divine opportunity to speak to the people around us in a way that encourages and inspires them.
I invite you to look at the people around you with new eyes:
- What might you say to them today that will encourage, strengthen or inspire them?
- Who might be open to an encouraging word about the love of Christ?
Let’s all try to introduce ourselves to someone new this week, and see how God might work through our conversations.
