A Faithful Witness
Dear Friend,
Every life is a witness to something. By witness I mean: “speaking from experience.” John the apostle told us that Jesus Christ was “The Faithful Witness.” He meant for us to understand that Christ spoke from His experience about the nature and purpose of God.
The witness of some lives is negative. It speaks from the experience of compulsive addiction or driven greed or empty self-indulgence. But, mature souls hope to be a more positive witness to speak from the experience of:
- a healthy connection with God
- an encouraging connection with people
- an inspiring connection with the adventure of faith
