“The Nature of Doubt”

Dear Friend,

On Sunday September 12, I will begin a new sermon series in which we will explore the nature of doubt. This series will be an excellent opportunity to invite unchurched friends.

I believe that doubt expresses itself in both healthy and unhealthy ways. I will be using illustrations from Teddy Roosevelt’s exploration in the Amazon Basin to create insights into the life challenges and instruction that doubt provides.

I do not believe that all doubt is bad. Without a healthy expression of doubt, we stumble through life in a fog of naiveté. I also reject the idea that doubting everything creates a good pathway through life.

Join me for this series “Life on the River of Doubt,” and we will invite the Holy Spirit to guide us into the truth as we explore this very human quality together.
