Spiritual Pathway

Why get involved in a group or serve with a team? Because learning to live life with others builds community and God loves community! In fact, community is God’s dream for His church—and groups and teams help create community by connecting people to God and each other. It’s that simple!

So, if you want to grow in your relationship with God, build meaningful relationships and experience life-giving community, get involved in a group or begin serving on a team!

If you would like some help figuring out how to get connected, contact Pastor Marc Theodore by email or phone; 440-236-8282.

Volunteering

"For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:10

Live longer, smile more, and meet new friends
We can help you to "get connected" at Christ Church through Christian service. We believe that God has designed his Church to be made up of gifted individuals, forming one body. As a disciple of Jesus Christ, you will want to give of your time and talent. Why not volunteer in an area where you are gifted? When you are serving God in the ministry for which he has designed you, it is a win-win deal; you are happier, your ministry is effective, and God is honored. Christ Church has many areas in which you can serve, both in the church and in the community.

In the church
There are immediate opportunities for you to share your time and talent here at Christ Church. We currently have need of people interested in: child development, sound and video production, graphics, talking on the telephone, welcome center, ushering, and many many more fun and exciting opportunities. If you would like to live longer, smile more and meet new friends call the church offices at 440-236-8282.

In the Community
For those who would like to share themselves outside of the church, we keep a list of Community Mission Projects to serve in the community. But don't do it alone. Connect with a group or a team because it's better to serve together.

Unsure of where to start? We can help!
Numerous times during the year classes are offered which include not only discovery of your Spiritual Gifts but personality type, values and passions as well. Seminar participants have found this information helpful in making decisions about ministry involvement, career paths and relationships. Discover: Your Purpose will be offered in the near future.

Try the self assessment, Explore Your Spiritual Gifts (PDF), to help discover how God has equiped you for service at Christ Church.
